Chateau Campuget 1753 Viognier 2018

Product Description

Vinification: Harvested at full maturity the Viognier goes directly into the press. The juices are cooled and put in vats for settling. Once clear, the juice is partially sung for fermentation in barrels. Then the wine aged in barrels stays there for 4 months. Subsequently, the Viognier aged in barrels and the Viognier aged in vats can be assembled.

Tasting: Viognier is a limpid and brilliant white. It exudes a bouquet of honeysuckle, apricot orange marmalade and tropical fruits. On the palate the balance and roundness are very pleasant. Medium-bodied, generously fruity but structured, it owes its freshness and precision to the good acidity.

Aging: drink from an early age and up to 2 years.

Accompaniment: Aperitif, smoked fish or a cuisine of Asian or Indian inspiration.
